Claire Zucker is the Associate Director of the Water Resources Research Center and the Program Director for the TRIF supported Water, Environmental, Energy Solutions WEES) Initiative. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively on a variety of watershed management topics with a focus on the interface between environmental resource management and urban planning. She has expertise in groundwater and surface water hydrology, stormwater management, regional wastewater planning, sustainability, agency and committee coordination, and community engagement. At the WRRC, Claire works on a variety of communication efforts, strategic planning, and administrative projects. Through WEES, she works to ensure investments are vetted through a transparent cross-disciplinary process and are aligned with WEES priorities to helUniversity of Arizona faculty and centers create solutions to Arizona’s water, environment, and energy issues. Claire holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, and a Master’s degree in Geological Sciences from the University California, Santa Barbara, CA.
