My research interests center on the cell biology of antigen presentation within the immune system. We study a family of virus-encoded immune evasion molecules that co-opt host ubiquitin-dependent intracellular trafficking pathways to inhibit antigen presentation. These pathways are explored using biochemical and cell biological techniques.
