Denise J. Roe received a B.A. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA) a M.S. in Biometrics from the University of Colorado, and a Dr.P.H. in Biostatistics from UCLA. She has been on the faculty of the University of Arizona since 1988. She was promoted to Professor in 2006 in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. She has been the Director of the Biostatistics Shared Resource in the University of Arizona Cancer Center since 2009
