Alex Hu is an assistant Specialist and professor of plant pathology with a 70% Extension and 30% Research appointment in the School of Plant Sciences at the University of Arizona. He is stationed on main campus in Tucson and is the leader of the UA Extension Plant Pathology programs for field crops and fruit nut crops, including cotton, small grains, and fruit nut trees. He received his PhD in plant pathology from the Virginia Tech University. Alex manages cooperative efforts to provide disease diagnostic support and develodisease management strategies and information that improve croproduction efficiency
