Dr. Samuel Garcia received his BS in Veterinary Science, University of Arizona 2008) MS in Animal Science- Meat Science, University of Arizona 2011) and his PhD in Animal Science- Meat Science, University of Arizona 2013) He currently is an Assistant Professor of Practice and Manager of the Food Product and Safety Lab with The School of Animal and Comparative Biomedical Sciences. His teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Animal Sciences Lecture and Lab ACBS 102R/L) Beef Resource Management ACBS 477) and ACBS 202 Introduction to Livestock Production. He assists in teaching laboratories for Meat Animal Composition ACBS 420) Garcia is also is currently managing the day to day operations of the Food Product and Safety Lab.
