About

Andrew Perkins is a licensed clinical psychologist who conducts forensic and psychological assessments and provides treatment for problems related to trauma, illegal or distressing sexual behavior, and issues related to gender and sexuality. He completed an APA Accredited Pre-Doctoral Internshiat Department of State Hospitals- Patton in California, where he received specialized training in clinical and forensic psychology under the guidance of David Glassmire, Ph.D. ABPP. He went on to complete a one-year postdoctoral fellowshiin forensic psychology at Department of State Hospitals-Patton, under the guidance of Craig Lareau, Ph.D. ABPP. Dr. Perkins is also currently a lecturer faculty member at the University of Arizona, teaching courses such as Child Abuse and Neglect, Abnormal Psychology, and Forensic Psychology. His research has been published in the International Journal of Sexual Health, and he has co-authored two chapters in the American Psychiatric Publishing Textbook of Psychiatry on Paraphilic Disorders and Gender Dysphoria.
