Assistant Professor, Radiation Oncology - (Clinical Scholar Track)
Dr. Greer serves as an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He specializes in gastrointestinal cancers with focus on MRI application of radiation treatments and stereotactic body radiation therapy SBRT) Dr. Greer is a native of St. Johns, AZ and received his medical degree at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. During medical school he pursued research fellowshiat the National Cancer Institute investigating artificial intelligence applications of prostate multi-parametric MRI. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center where he served as chief resident. His research interests include imaging, safety and quality improvement, and health care disparities with focus on improving access to oncologic care for Native American and rural patients. His hobbies outside of work include biking, hiking, and camping with his wife and two daughters.
