I am the head of iVoices Media Lab and Immersive Truth project and an Associate Professor in the University of Arizona College of Information. My work is focused on engagement for students and communities in the past, present, and future mediated through digital technologies and media production. As an educator I specialize in social media, online collaboration, artificial intelligence, and qualitative and arts-based research methodologies. I deliver content to large audiences using performance techniques along with media technologies including collective blogs, video lectures, educational social media apps, audio work, and Open Educational Resources (OER) including the open textbook Humans Are Social Media. In my scholarship and teaching I draw from and build on an interdisciplinary fund of knowledge including archival studies, digital culture, performance studies, and digital humanities.
Work with Prof Daly on the open textbook Humans R Social Media including textbook development and an open governance plan with researchers from CU Boulder.
