Brian Bidolli is a lecturer with the University of Arizona and executive director of the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency in Norwalk, Connecticut. During his time on campus in Tucson, Brian started the online Master of Real Estate Development program and worked with local developers on numerous development projects. Prior to his time in Arizona, Brian was the executive director of the Connecticut Metropolitan Council of Governments, a regional transportation and economic development organization in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Through his work with elected officials, Brian has led numerous public policy initiatives, both domestic and international, with a focus on the integration of data and technology into government and business processes. In 2014, Brian was a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow based in Berlin, Germany. Working as a consultant to the SAP Future Cities Program, he supported smart city integration projects in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North America. He has received awards for his contributions to urban planning and development from ESRI and the Fairfield County Business Journal. Brian is a graduate of City University of New York, and holds master's degrees in city planning from San Diego State University, public administration from California State University, and a dual Global Executive Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University and ESADE Business School in Spain. In a previous life Brian was a jazz composition major at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is a guitarist, music producer, urban explorer and data enthusiast.
