<span>Anne Anderson joined the Eller College of Management in 2024 as a Senior Lecturer in Finance. Prior to teaching at Eller, Anne was Dean of the Heidelberg University School of Business from January 2023 to May 2024. Prior to Heidelberg, she was the Weatherford Chair of Finance at Middle Tennessee State University from August 2018 to December 2022. From 2003 to 2018, she was on the faculty of Lehigh University. In 2009, she was named the Joseph R. Perella Amy M. Perella Chair in Finance. She earned her PhD in Finance in 2003 from the University of Arizona, an MBA from the University of Tulsa in 1998, and a BS from the United States Military Academy in 1987. Upon graduation from USMA, Dr. Anderson served in the US Army Corps of Engineers and completed several major projects to include adding 9 holes to a golf course in Savannah, Georgia and building an orphanage in Honduras. Dr. Anderson’s research interests include markets and institutions, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, regulation, and valuation and her work has been published in em>Critical Finance Review, em>Organization Science, Journal of Housing Research, The Financial Review, Journal of Financial Research, em>Financial Management, Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics, Financial Analysts Journal, Corporate Finance Review, Review of Business< em>Journal of Regulatory Economics, and the em>Journal of Fixed Income<em> Anne earned her PhD in Finance from the University of Arizona in 2003. Anne previously taught at Middle Tennessee State University and Lehigh University. Her areas of expertise include markets and institutions, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, regulation, and valuation.
