About

Dr. Wung is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing and an acute care nurse practitioner. She has more than 20 years of clinical research experience in the effective and safe use of health technologies and big data to provide precision monitoring strategies for cardiovascular and acute illnesses. Dr. Wung received her M.S. Cardiovascular Clinical Specialist) Post-M.S. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) and Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Wung has received funding as the principal investigator from the National Institutes of Health and professional associations, including the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing, Emergency Nurses Association Foundation, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Oncology Nursing Society Foundation. She has published over 45 peer-reviewed manuscripts in nursing and inter-disciplinary journals, 4 book chapters, and over 130 local/regional, national and international presentations.
