I am a Physics Professor at the Univ. of Arizona, holding joint appointments in the Dept. of Mol. and Cell. Biology, and the College of Optical Sciences. I am also a member of the Biological Physics Program, Chemical Physics Program, and Biological Chemistry Program, and an affiliated member of Applied Mathematics. I received my PhD in 1993 from the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
