Remo Tilanus specializes in observatory operations and advanced data reduction techniques. At Steward Observatory he is both Operations Manager for the Event Horizon Telescope Consortium, working to get higher resolution images and movies of black holes, as well as for the ARO telescopes on Mount Graham and Kitt Peak. His scientific interests are in observational cosmology, galaxy evolution, and the interstellar medium.
