Michael Galde is an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona, specializing in Industrial Cyber Operations, with a rich background spanning academia, industrial applications, intelligence operations, and cybersecurity research. Michael has developed and delivered comprehensive courses on Cyber Operations, Network Analysis, Malware Analysis, and advanced topics like Industrial Control Systems Security at the University of Arizona. He has also led innovative research initiatives, including the Industrial Asymmetric Environment Surveillance (IAES) project. Before his academic career, Michael served as a Cyber Security Engineer at the Nebraska Applied Research Institute, where he excelled in vulnerability assessments, tool creation, and reverse engineering. His experience also includes roles as an Intelligence Analyst for The Buffalo Group and the United States Army, where he provided critical intelligence services. Michael holds a Master's in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Nebraska. He is globally recognized for his cybersecurity credentials, including the Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) and GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) certifications.
