Dr. Gaspers completed critical care training at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2008, where she also completed her Masters in Public Health with a focus on Health Education and Health Promotion. After her fellowshishe joined the Pediatric Critical Care Division of The University of Arizona. She has been involved as a contributing investigator in multiple national/international clinical trials, including the VIPER study on scorpion antivenin, long term ventilation in children, medications under invesitagtion, and SARS-CoV-2 in children. Currently, Dr. Gaspers is serving as the Medical Director of the PICU and is involved in multiple quality improvement and program development efforts. Serving as a Clinical Associate Professor in Pediatrics, she regularly trains medical students and residents in critical care medicine. She is a volunteer with the Girl Scouts of America, Tucson Regional Ballet and the Ronald McDonald House. She enjoys spending time running or watching good movies with her husband and raising her three children.
