Lauren Meyer, Ph.D. earned her BA in Psychology and Justice Studies from Arizona State University, her MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice CUNY) and her PhD in School Psychology from the University of Arizona APA Accredited) She completed her predoctoral internshiwith the Louisiana School Psychology InternshiConsortium APA Accredited) in New Orleans, LA and a joint postdoctoral fellowshiwith the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Education Research and the Sun Prairie Area School District SPASD) in Madison and Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, respectively. Dr. Meyer practiced as a school psychologist and MTSS coordinator in SPASD where she collaborated with stakeholders in the development, implementation, and evaluation of tiered systems for academics and social-emotional-behavioral supports. She has over ten years of teaching experience at the community college and university levels. She is a licensed psychologist WI) and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Her clinical, research, advocacy, and teaching interests include best practices in tiered supports, both academic and social-emotional-behavioral; crisis prevention, intervention, and response; and the role of school psychologists in advancing mental health priorities in schools and communities
