Emma Gomez is a senior lecturer for the Department of English. She received her bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in Teaching and her master’s degree in English Literature from California State University, Los Angeles. She has a background in K-12 education and holds a master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education. Her research and teaching interests focus on language and literacy, multimodal writing with an emphasis on intersectionality, and Latinx culture and literature.
