Carrie Eastman is a LEED accredited professional with a Master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in the History of Art and Architecture from Brown University. She has been practicing landscape architecture in New York City since 2004. Her work, which is driven by principles of sustainable design, has included projects of various scales for both public agencies and private clients. Her desire is to tread lightly on the land and to make an impact on the built environment that, in terms of design and ecology, is a positive one. In addition, she recently has partnered to form an editing and writing company that specializes in the production of books on urbanism, architecture, landscape architecture, and art.
