Tamal Bose is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Arizona. He is well known for his research in signal classification for cognitive radios, channel equalization, adaptive filtering algorithms and nonlinear effects in digital filters. Bose is author of the 2004 textbook Digital Signal and Image Processing; co-author of Basic Simulation Models of Phase Tracking Devices Using MATLAB (2010); and co-author of Partial Update Least-Square Adaptive Filtering, published in 2014.
