Daniel E. Sylvester Lecturer, School of Architecture dsylvester@arizona.edu Daniel E. Sylvester is currently a Lecturer in the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture (CAPLA) at the University of Arizona. Dan holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin where he studied and traveled throughout Mexico, Central America, Russia, Sweden, and Western Europe. He received the Ford, Powell & Carson Traveling Fellowship, the Swedish Excellence Scholarship, the Ted Freeman Memorial Prize, and a Texas Architectural Foundation Scholarship. Dan designed and served as associate editor (with Wilfried Wang) for two volumes in the O’Neil Ford Series monographs: Fassianos Building and Argentina as well as co-edited the monograph, Philharmonie, on the Berlin concert hall by Hans Scharoun.
